Default Camping anyone?

We have just started camping and love it.

Last year we bought a travel trailer and of course had to buy the truck to tow the trailer~ not such a good move with the price of gas.

So anyone going camping this year?

We are probably going to drop off the camper and leave it at the park instead of driving back and forth threwout the summer.
What about you?

Default camping

I love camping. It's a rainy season now here in my country so it is not the best time to do it. We'll probably do it next summer.

teenmoney~ you are a true camper. Backpacking is not for me at all. I need to have my air conditioning, television, computers, stove, and microwave in order to camp.

I love to camp-- not finding as much time this year as I would like though-
We have a pop-up... but I also love to camp with tents.
Planning on camping this weekend a bit-

A friend of mine bought an suv to carry all her camping equipment in, I bet she is really hurting with the price of gas for that thing now.
My family likes to camp, we have several tents but it has been raining so much so far this summer that the only person who has camped is my son when he went to boy scout camp earlier last month. It rained 2 days that he was there which is good, where we live the same week we had rain 4 of the days he was gone.

Love it. Haven't had a chance to go in YEARS (my friends are all wusses these days) but my love hasn't changed.

My ambition in life is still to do part, or all (but more likely part) of the Appalachian Trail. Just strap some supplies on my back and kick me off into the wilderness for a month or two.

We went camping this past weekend. It was beautiful on Friday and Saturday. Sunday was horrible. It was such a rain storm! I was on the lake with my daughter and her friend, no car to leave, and the warnings on the tv said to make sure you are in a safe place. How safe is a trailer in a storm?
We played lots of games to pass the time.

We went back up to the trailer last night and the ground is total sog! We are staying at the lake threw the 4th....hopefully it will dry up.
