I really enjoy the Florida Keys. It has some Caribbean flare to it. And Key West is a great place to party and relax. The scuba diving is awesome. IF you like cats, you can go hang out with about a million of them at Hemingway's house.

I personally think the best beach is in my own backyard in Kailua, Hawaii. I've been all over the world, and Lanikai beach is hands-down the best one. Sand as fine as silk, perfect weather every day! It doesn't hurt that I can walk to it from my house. But I'd travel from anywhere to come here, too.

Hey, not everyplace that has a good beach is in the tropics. We have a great beach here in Brooklyn. Right near Coney Island.
We even have the Keyspan Stadium where you can see a baseball game by guys that might someday play for the METs. OK, well, there is Nathan's hot dogs here. And Nathan's has the best French Fries anywhere. And if you walk the boardwalk, you will definitely hear at least five different languages spoken. Well, the French Fries are great anyway. And the beach is long and wide and the ocean is clean here. OK, the tropics sound good too. |

Skatss--- I'll get there someday! I'm from upstate NY. It sounds like a great trip- although I'm a Yankees fan
![]() I was thinking a beach on the NC shore. Carolina beach or Kure beach. Beautiful. To be honest- when you live where there are no beaches- I think any beach sounds lovely. We are making a trip to Virginia beach this summer! |
