With the cost of gas increasing almost daily--- How many people are changing their summer plans? Staying home instead of taking those driving trips?
Cutting out other trips to the mall? etc.? I know I'm not driving as much- I'm still driving to and from work but combining other things together to save the amount of gas I use. |

You know I just tried this this past week. My daughter had 3 softball games- they all started at 6 but we had to be there by 5:30- I don't get home from work until 4:30-- we brought everything with us in the morning- so we didn't have to run up home - I'm in the country and driving up the hills is a gas guzzler. I only used 1 tank of gas! I was impressed- We did have to grab food out though-- so I'm not sure how much of a savings it was!

Next time bring a picnic dinner so you won't have to stop for food too.
It does take time to plan out your driving when you are use to just going here and there and back again. When you take the time, it does save on gas. |

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 01:32 AM.

Anyway, if one is really going to drive outside, planning is great. What I mean is, if you want to go somewhere very important, just take the right road to go to all your detinations in one driving only. That should cut your gas spend.
