I have driven one. I am very excited that time to drive it that I forgot to check the car model. All I can remember is that it is made by Chrysler. I enjoyed it.

I've gone looking to buy a hybrid and a friend of a friend has a Prius and I asked if I could try it out.

I was only driving for a half hour or so on a country road, so it wasn't much like I usually drive. I am a city driver mostly. It was very quiet, and it kind of spooked me to be able to hear so much of what went on in the car. The car also smelled cleaner and I didn't smell any gas emission odors at all.

For the time I spent I liked it a lot. But I still want to try it in the city in the summer in one of those hellish long traffic jams that happen too often here.

For what it's worth I liked it a lot.

For those who've driven one, do you notice much of a difference in the pickup, when you accelerate or in the handling?

I imagine the lack of engine noise when you're in electric mode would seem odd at first.

I have never driven a hybrid, though I want to. Some weekend when I have the time, I would like to go to a dealership and test drive a Ford Escape hybrid--I currently drive a standard Escape, and I would love to compare the two!

Of course, it would be more enjoyable if I were going to the dealership with the intent of actually buying a hybrid. Alas, I cannot afford one right this moment.

I recently drove around one of the new Lexus luxury hybrids. Loved it and I loved the ride as well. The Lexus is incredibly smooth and it is gorgeous inside. If I ever have that much money I would buy one in a heartbeat, till then I will have to ride in my uncles.
