None so far, dobylove. Although there's apparently a way to convert deisel engine to run on vegetable oil! Too bad I don't own a diesel.

Here's a link to a kit that you can buy for about $4k. I'm not associated with this business and I think it would make the car look a little weird. But to answer you question, yes, you can convert a gasoline powered car to a hybrid.

After the gas price rise, so many people have used HHO conversion kits to increase fuel economy. The companies claim increase fuel efficiency by at least 40% and there would be no high maintainance costs. I would personally never take chance, i would prefer to get a hybrid instead.
