The solar array is producing 1.3 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year. It is one of the largest solar power installations in corporate use in the United States to the roof of its Service and Parts Operations (SPO) warehouse in Fontana, California.

Nice innovation, I hope that all car manufacturers will have the same mentality. These companies have all the profits they want, why not deal with helping people in their energy needs? Right?

I have to hand it to General Motors, building and using one green warehouse is a good start. It can show other manufacturers of any products that they can also clean up their facilities.

Good work GM!

Well I also read that GM plans to shutdown some of its facilities and cut down on much of the SUV and large truck manufacturing.
