Rethuglicans Defeat Positive Energy Bill

Sigh. The Rethuglicans derailed an energy bill yesterday that would have, in part, encouraged the development of AFT. I wonder, do they simply love Big Oil that much, or do they just hate the average American who is suffering with the oil crunch?
