Default Existing Laws as Emission Standard

The first standards were established under the Clean Air Act (CAA). Signed into law in 1963, then amended in 1970, and again in 1990 the CAA is enforced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

California ’s Air Resources Board (CARB) voted unanimously to approve a new regulation creating the nation’s strictest auto emissions standards. However, California emissions standards exceed federal limits.

The said law is amended in 1970, and again in 1990 the CAA is enforced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA was established in 1970 and is responsible for protecting the environment and public health. I just can't imagine how the national government react to the California emission standards.

Hybrid is still the best. Fuel economy and efficiency. Many have ask about its power? I have read recently that there is a 700bhp supercar! I am researching on it now, but it is an evidence that power is not absent in hybrids.
