Default What powers a Hybrid

I know that gas is part of what powers a hybrid. Is it the battery that provides the electric part of the hybrid and if so is it a rechargeable type battery? I am pretty sure we don't plug in the hybrid.

There are many alternative fuels used in hybrids. Ethanol, biodesiel, natural gas and more. Right now, there are vehicles that run fueled by water. When you say hybrid, it is a vehicle that is run by two sources of power independently.

Yeah, many have now developed fueling it with water. Also, many cars run on LPG.

Electric motors powers these cars and the common gasoline and diesel engines are still used on them but with some modifications being made and additional parts are being installed.

LPG is also a great fuel on cars but that emits harmful gases. I think their point of using it is just the low price of it compared to gasoline.

I think the rechargeable batteries are in the electric cars. The hybrid batteries I believe last several years just like the normal 12 volt batteries in gas powered cars.
