What a time to come in this years "green car" awards. Honda is still dominating the charts of their natural gas-powered Civic GX which took top honors as the greenest vehicle, according to the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).

The diesel-powered Volkswagen Touareg receives the dubious honor of being the year's most environment-unfriendly vehicle.

Good for Honda. I think that's five years in a row for that model. They've really taken a good grip of the position. On the other hand, Volkswagen should take a closer look at their engine model.

I rather love Honda. They don't seem to have the 'corporate' feel about them. If they win it, then good for them!

Yes, they seem to just do their own way but what comes after that? Wow! an award! All I can say is, they're good. In addition, After an exhaustive analysis, the 2007 Honda Civic was named the Best New Car for First-Time Drivers. According to Cars.com.
