Default Envorinmental Issues

While many hybrid manufacturers are competing for supremacy on every model of hybrids, many have not jumped into the game. Some of them are into the main issue of environmental awareness.

These hybrid can reduce pollutants, reduce noise emmissions and of course, the less price compared to gasoline.

Can we discuss other points in which we can build a concrete example to really call them "Green Cars"?

Though hybrid cars take in substantially less petroleum than conventional cars, there is still an issue regarding the environmental damage of the Hybrid car battery. Today most Hybrid car batteries are made of nickel and lithium ion; both are regarded as more environmentally friendly than lead-based batteries

I have known that there are many types of batteries and some are far more toxic than others.

I am sure in the near future all companies will be shifting towards hybrid and other new technology cars.

If not, the companies are going to fall behind other competitors.

If batteries that can be recharged by solar cells on the car would also help in the cost of recharging and would make these cars more "green."

I already made a humorous note about these hybrid cars being less noisy. To get rid of some of the noise pollution on our roads is also something that makes "green" sense and can be a wonderful way to make living by roads in towns or out of town more comfortable. I think that would be a big plus!
