Default Built in Carseats

Most newer vehicles these days have the built in carseats. Do any of the hybrids have the car seats built in?

What, like child carseats? I've never heard of this. I don't know that I'd want them built in, hybrid or not.

Yes, they have the seat in the back with built in car seats. You just flip down part of the seat and it converts into a child carseat. Very convient if you have children. When you aren't using them, they just flip back in and go back to the regular seat.

That is such a good idea but what if you travel in someones car who doesnt have them you would still need to buy a seat then.

Do you also want all those hidden places where you can store stuff too? I've seen big cars where seats all fold down and you can store stuff and change the seating to your heart's content.

Is having all these perks as important to you when you think of hybrid cars? Since we are still trying to get a good lightweight car that can be driven cheaply and will last for years, do you suggest that the car manufacturers try and make sure that they cars also have all the newer seating options before you and many other car buyers would be interested?

Like I said I only care about a reliable means of transportation that saves energy, but I also know that I am not the usual car buyer.

What percentage of drivers want all the cool bells and whistles built in the car before they will consider buying a hybrid? Can anyone give a guess?

I am pretty sure I have seen the built in child seats as an option in some of the hybrids. I know at last years Chicago Car Show, they showed them in both back seats and one built into the captain chair in the back.

I don't know about this, but I am trying to figure things out. For the Ford Escape, there is, I don't have ideas for other models.

This is what a lot of young couples look for when purchasing a car. Just wondered if it was a feature in a hybrid vechicle too.
