Thumbs up How colleges support hybrids?

Mississippi State University in Starkville, Miss. is the first place winner of Challenge X, in which 17 university teams from across the U.S. and Canada competed to reengineer a General Motors (GM) Chevrolet Equinox Crossover SUV with advanced powertrain configurations. The winner of the competition achieved high fuel economy and low emissions, all while maintaining driver comfort and vehicle performance.

Wow! Very nice move by the GM folks. They really are reaching out to everyone even to the colleges thru this project.

It's great to hear that programs like this are still being used to encourage students as well as use every mind possible to find ideas. Sometimes new ideas that are cerated here make it into the products and stuff we buy.

It's nice to see this study being done in the states. I say good job to GM--- I wonder when these cars will be available to buy?

What a great idea for GM to get the colleges involved in this. It brings awareness to the college students.
