But then, I live in Detroit, where the politicians are just about as far behind the alternative fuel curve as the auto companies themselves. I am hoping that President Obama, when he's elected (okay, if he's elected ) will bring more AFVs into the national fleet, though. I think that would be a big boost to the technology.

At least some of the fleets ship that are in the Middle East would stop using petroleum products when Obama wins! That move I think is great!
