Speaking at the Plug-in 2008 conference in San Jose, Andy Grove, former Chairman & CEO of Intel Corporation supported the idea of developing hybrid cars echoing the views of many.

Such plan is very realistic. Even in the early ages of hybrids and fuel altenatives, these can be very possible to have with the assistance of the leading "green" groups, other motor companies and the government.

You got that right, any kind of hybrid and green campaign cannot be a project if there is no assistance and participation of the people who are the sole beneficiaries of that project.

Yes, people should start participating in all of the green projects, may it be government or private project.

We all are expecting our government to do everything for us. First we need to get aware and take the initiative. I believe that dedicated efforts by all the individuals would certainly do what we want.

You do have a point - protecting the environment begins with us. But it will be easier if government and business leaders can take the lead.
