Default Any hybrid sports cars coming.

Has anyone heard of any sport hybrid cars being made?

I did think I saw a concept for a Porsche hybrid.

I have never heard of a new one but I'm trying to figure that out. Yeah, A porsche has that in their minds but haven't heard of them yet. I have heard that Ford is developing one now and also for Toyota. Last years auto show displays The Toyota FT-HS is a 400-horsepower hybrid sports car with expressive styling. Looks really good!

Well, before this year, you'd be talking about a small segment of the car market (hybrids) being married with another small segment of the market (sports cars). That's not a good indicator for sales, and with the car companies hurting I don't imagine they'd step into something they couldn't make money off of. Now that hybrid sales seem to be blossoming, though ...

Yeah, I really don't think there will be many sport hybrids.

I think fuel efficiency comes first and we might start see more sporty models in the near future.

How I wish they could run as fast as common gas sports cars!

Default sports car

They really should consider fuel efficiency at the most, because of the present condition where gas price is really soaring high.

Hybrid Sports Cars can be very expensive in terms of the manufacturing materials. As conventional sports cars are, they shoud run like hell to be called sports car. And that requires great engine and great number of raw materials for manufacturing. I think there will be few manufacturers who can come up to this these days.
