Thank you guys so much for the hybrid news link you have. I read it this morning and I'm a bit concerned about something I've read.
The lead article says that hybrid cars don't have the excess waste heat around to use to warm up the driver and passengers. The news article says that it will take until 2012 to use a new idea that will be able to generate the heat that's needed. Do the people with Hybrids here who live in really cold climates notice that? Are your cars colder, do they take longer to heat up and do you usually need to keep your coat on inside the car? I have a medical condition that makes me very sensitive to the cold and I haven't heard about the cars feeling colder than other cars. It might be a small factor to others but I really need to know if I will be bothered by the cold in them. |
