Default Into the deep.

I remember way back in the day that some automotive companies were dabbling in cars that could go into the water. And I know that some people have actually converted their cars into boats.

Question is, has there ever been a car company that's endeavored to make cars that could go UNDERwater? I can't say I've ever seen anything of the like, but it'd be nifty to know that somebody's working on cars that are essentially submarines as well.

Might not be terribly useful, but damn would it be neat.

I don't know what it is called, but isn't there a vehicle that can go from the road and then float in the water like a boat?

Yes such cars have been built so many years back. They are called amphibious cars and can easily float in the water as well as run on the road.

Yeah, you must see how it ran over Jackie Chan when he rumbled the Bronx. I don't know if there is such a car that can go unterwater and run? But amphibious cars are running ever since the 70's.
