Default more motorcycles

Do you think that with the cost of gas, more people are purchasing motorcycles to drive in the summer?

I think this is becoming more popular with people with shorter commutes.

I agree. MY son just went out and bought a motorcycle. He drives a Chevy truck with a hemi....way too much in gas money just to get back and forth to work.

I drove a motorcycle for three years and it is a very great gas saver and less traffic. But still depends on the driver's style. Bad for rainy seasons, though.

Yeah, motorcycles are great, in summer. It can easily go anywhere, and no probs in parking it in crowded parking lots.

We have thought about it so that hubby can get to work without taking the car, although we still need a car for the kids and shopping.

This is one of the downfalls of motorcycles. Once you start a family, you need a car. Motorcycles are also more dangerous....not because of the motorcycle driver, because of the other drivers.

I have had some friends in motorcycle accidents. I agree they can be dangerous.

I don’t think that it would further the increase on sales on motorcycles because it is also using oil on it. In our country, motorbike owners are selling there vehicle because they are finding it hard to keep it on a good running condition.
