Every watch the tv show the Jetsons? You know those little space cars that they travel in? How long before we are all driving in space?

I bet it'd take a couple hundred years before we got to that stage, mainly because early air drivers will kill each other en masse. Taking to the air only gives reckless drivers more ways to screw up.

I totally agree with you. It just popped into my mind when on here reading about future technology, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

I think that it would take us a thousand years to develop something like that. Personally I wouldn’t worry about something that is too impossible. Those cars only exist on cartoons.

Yes, maybe a couple thousand years, those cars will be common. Imagining that year, I think we are in the Flintstones age if people on year 3008 look back to where we are now.

Those flying cars are great but that would be centuries away.

I look at some of the idiots that are on the road when I head in to work and my thought is, "we want these people in the air???" Seriously, we'd have chunks of flying car parts all over the place while people put on makeup, use their cell phones and text message.

That time I think is very far from where we are right now. This could occur in the future, I guess.
