Default How are those suv hybrids on power?

I had always thought that hybrids needed to be little cars.

Then they started coming out with hybrid suvs like the Ford Escape and the Mazda Tribute. Do they have the same amount of get up and go as the smaller hybrids like the Toyota Prius?
How do they compare to regular suvs?

That's a good question. I imagine the engines have the same amount of horsepower, but I don't know.

I think they don't hava e the same power when run by electric. The Ford Escape came out to be the most efficient among SUVs. It has the lowest cost of fuel (in full tank) and can run more mileage.

There are great differences in hybrids. The electric motors installed in these cars vary in power. That ultimately depends on their body structure and weight, of course.

Well the bigger hybrids really are that great in terms as fuel economy than that of smaller compact cars. Hybrid SUVs do get better gas mileage than their fuel powered counter parts, but nothing near the 30 or 40+ that some hybrids get.

SUV hybrids are better for the environment too.

I agree on that, they have much power and fuel economy in terms of mileage.

I think SUVs have the same power as their model of comon gasoline car. And in addition, I think it is in the driver's styel that varies the travel of each car may it be hybrid or not.

I think they vary in power. Electric power is much stronger I think and very silent though, you won't hear a sound from the car.

That depends on the model of the certain SUV. But ultimately, Common cars really are more powerful.

Yes they are, with lesser fuel to burn makes them better for the environment. And I really do think Hybrid SUV's have a little difference regarding power, with regular SUV's
