Thumbs down Parallel Hybrid Electric Drive Train with Speed Coupling ( Summing)

I decide to make a Speed Coupling by connecting an DC electric Motor and a gas engine in a small hybrid car.


W out = W in1/k1 + W in2/k2 (1)
T out = T in1 . k1 = T in2 . k2 (2)

k1,k2: constant, depending on the structure of Planetary unit
W : revolution
T : Torque


The question I want to receive your oppinions is:
When we couple an engine and an electric motor:

1 - Only 1 point ( or 2 points ) on the graph T-w ( Torque- Speed) that we have : Tin1 . k1 = Tin2 . k2
So at other remaining points , how does the Coupling do? I mean : When we do not have : Tin1 . k1 = Tin2 . k2, what is the torque of the out axle of the Coupling T out ?
Which torque ( the stronger or the weaker; the torque of the engine or the Motor) will propell the vehicle ?


2. Can I Couple an electric Motor and an engine that their rating torque ( I mean the rating torque of electric motor and the torque at the revolution-that has the max power of engine) do not follow the above equivalence (Tin1 . k1 = Tin2 . k2 ) ?
