My boys both got nice cars when they started driving. I shouldn't say that the new drivers are prone to more accidents, but they don't have the skill to see the accident coming to them.
Both were hit by other drivers and both times it was the other drivers fault. I guess when my next son drives, I would rather him spend his money on a car that isn't so nice because of this. I shouldn't look at it that way....you are right.
