Staying home is great as long as you are not bored. Staying in front of your computer posting inhybrid car forum is good!
Anyway, if one is really going to drive outside, planning is great. What I mean is, if you want to go somewhere very important, just take the right road to go to all your detinations in one driving only. That should cut your gas spend.
