In gas cars, the electrical wirings are used everytine the car is turn on. Thus, wearing its wires more. In hybrids, these wires are only used when the car runs. If the car stops, it automatically turns off. Then turns on back again when the accelerator is pushed. So, hybrid cars have longer electrical wire life than conventional cars based on this use.
