Default Come On! There's Money To Be Made

I honestly don't know why the car manufacturers are shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to making hybrid cars. Registrations of new hybrid vehicles rose 38 percent in 2007, while overall vehicle sales declined by 3 percent. There's obviously a real desire for hybrid cars by the American car buying public.

Gas companies are making far too much profit while we are all cursing them as we pay moire and more for each gallon. Yes, we have been too quiet so far but they have got to realize that people just won't take it much longer. When there gets to be a real pinch to our paychecks, a real deficit to our way of living then we do get angry, angry enough to want another way to drive. They don't seem to realize that every time we go to buy gas, and I mean EVERY time we buy gas, we all have a real problem getting out that card to pay for it and we all get angry at least once a week.

Personally I thought that there would have been a revolt before this with people combining the hate for buying gas with the health concerns and that we'd become more like the Europeans and start getting on our bicycles and demanding bike paths so we can use it to get around our towns. But at least Americans are finally looking at hybrids -- and I'm hoping that the car manufacturers see that they can make a bundle of cash by bringing out a good hybrid for us to buy and use.

Come on, car manufacturers, we know you work on greed, there's MONEY to be made in Hybrids! Let's get going!
