Nissan Altima Hybrid- Nissan’s first hybrid comes in at a starting price of $25,070 MSRP and is giving the other hybrids on the market a run for their money. It has a highway rating of 35 miles per gallon and a city rating of 33 miles per gallon.
Mercury Mariner Hybrid-Even though the Mercury Mariner Hybrid is an SUV it still has a highway rating of 34 miles per gallon and a city rating of 30 miles per gallon, and comes it at a modest SUV starting price of $26,430 MSRP. This hybrid SUV is the cheapest one currently on the market and worth a look if you’re into the environment and want to enjoy the backcountry without destroying it.
Toyota Prius- At 46 miles per gallon between the city and the highway, the Toyota Prius shows why it’s stayed at the top of the pack in hybrids and the overall car market for 10 years, since its first appearance. And at $20,950, the other hybrids will have to run to catch up.
Toyota Camry Hybrid- If you want a roomier car than the Toyota Prius, but you still want to get a hybrid, you can always turn to the Toyota Camry Hybrid. The Camry Hybrid gets 34 miles per gallon in the city and on the highway and at $18,720 it wouldn’t hurt to give the Camry a try.
