Ford Escape Hybrid
Exterior
Reviewers and car aficionados describe the Ford Escape Hybrid as a muscular vehicle basically because it is bulky and sturdy as a truck. The strong and the bold appearance of the hybrid make it so attractive and appealing especially to male vehicle buyers. The truck has a beltline that has been significantly and noticeably raised to balance proportion of glass to metal sheet. As an Escape, the Ford Escape Hybrid is notorious for its Ford Tough look that never fails to turn heads and awe bystanders.
The hood is raised, while the distinct reverse crease design automatically and involuntarily draws the eye of the beholder to the vehicle's power center. The center has a crafty and deliberate design that is intended to emphasize good looks that comes with excellent performance. The front fascia is equipped with headlamps, which sweep up towards the front corners, going to a bold and tough grille.
Other distinct features include the 17-inch wheels, the blacked out B-pillars, integrated running boards and a roof rack. Some units, especially the older ones, have lower body side moldings, though this feature is already phased out in the newer units that are rolled out these days.
Sources said that for 2008 releases, Ford will modify and improve some of the most complained about exterior features. For instance, the new Ford Escape Hybrid would have less of the big and at times annoying grille. The edge headlights would be highlighted more and the overall appearance would be given a grittier and an all-terrain mien.
